A post-doc position is available in our group starting the 1st of October 2023. The early career researcher will work in a highly challenging project in synthetic organic chemistry, requiring excellence in contemporary practical skills. The researcher will work on the development of novel organic reactions based on photoredox-radical chemistry. The new radical processes will be applied in target synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and the late-stage functionalisation of complex molecules. The post-doctoral research scientist will benefit from the state-of-the-art facilities of the GSK Carbon Neutral Laboratories laboratories and from the experience of our research group in radical chemistry and photoredox catalysis.
